TEAM SYNC
A full-stack employee management and collaboration platform with role-based access, task assignment, department management, real-time communication, file sharing, and personal workspace controls.
THE PROBLEM
Managing employees, team communication, assigned work, and department activities across separate tools creates unnecessary complexity. The goal was to build one application connecting people, communication, and daily tasks through role-specific workflows.
APPROACH & ARCHITECTURE
Designed separate Admin and Employee workflows with backend-enforced role authorization. Combined REST APIs for management operations with Socket.IO for real-time communication, while using TanStack Query and Redux to keep application and server state organized.
